Helichrysūm

The name Helichrysum comes from the Greek words helios and chrysos meaning “golden sun”; is it also known as Immortelle or the Everlasting Flower which is a fitting name for a plant with remarkable anti-ageing properties. Its vibrant yellow flowers were woven into crowns that adorned the god Apollo, symbolising victorious immortality. There are hundreds of species of Helichrysum that can be found all over the world, mostly thriving in harsh, warm landscapes covered in sunshine. Spiritually, Helichrysum is said to evoke inner calm and foster connection to one’s spiritual practice.
